BOOK DONATION
We donate colourful storybooks and make sure the most relevant books are given to children.
Firstly, the children are graded to identify their initial reading levels, this helps us select the books we provide. The colourful books are presented into the hands of children in their classroom, with adult role-models allocated to each class to read with them. Once the books have been provided, a reading period is created in the class timetable with the collaboration of the teachers and head teacher.

We provide 4 storybooks which can be used over a school year, with the reading period developing into a literacy period, where the stories in the books are acted out into short plays in the classroom.

A follow-on stage is story writing, where children are encouraged to write short stories.

Our Book donation currently targets children in public schools as they are from low-income families.
